Q. How does ordering a Sale or Return work?
It’s simple! Fill in the form below with all the details of what you need and we will tailor-make a collection of books for you. The books will be sent via courier to you at school to browse at your leisure. Any books you do not want to keep will be collected from you 1 week later, and an invoice sent out for everything not returned.
Q. How do you pick which books to send us?
Feel free to include as much information on the form below as possible, so we have a really good feel for what you’re after. (Though if you want to just put minimal details, ‘Castles. Year 2’, that’s fine too!) We run an independent children’s bookshop and every month we receive thousands of books into the shop from lots of different publishers. We hand-pick the very best quality children’s books from a very wide range to recommend on our book lists and send out to schools.
Q. Is there a minimum order?
Nope. There is no minimum order for a sale or return collection – we can choose you 5 books or 5000, entirely dependent on your needs.
Q. How much does it cost?
We charge a flat rate of £15 for selecting your books and sending them out to you. Collection of books to be returned is charged at £5 per box. These charges are added to your final discount.
Q. Will we get some discount off our books?
Yes, of course! We always give all schools at least 10% off the recommended retail price of all the books you buy from us. If your order is a large one we will offer you extra discount.
Q. How do we pay for the books?
Once any returns have been made, we create an invoice which is sent to school. This is usually sent to both the person who ordered the books and the schools bursar or finance manager.
